Our Impact
In 2024 we’ve awarded 52 grants to local charitable organisations working to improve local lives for the better.
Grants were awarded in eight key areas: Mental Health, Wellbeing + Support (25 grants), Children and Young People (12), Direct Support for Families (5), Food Poverty (4), Older People (3) and Environment (3).
🧡 We’re celebrating: our Clark Fund hardship grants
From June 2024 - November 2025 we awarded 66 hardship grants totalling £12,000 to people across Surbiton, South of the Borough, Kingston & North Kingston, and New & Old Malden — helping families afford essentials like school uniforms, food and toiletries when life hits hardest.
“The grant would ease the worry of the household budget… and help buy fresh fish and noodles that the children enjoy. It gives happiness to the family.”

“These small grants make a real difference at moments when people are under pressure. Thanks to local Neighbourhood grants, we’ve been able to offer timely, practical support that helps residents feel a little more secure and less alone.”

🎁 Winter Fundraising Impact: Thanks to You!
From 1st Oct–1st Nov, you helped us raise an amazing £4,000, which was matched by the Rowan Bentall Charitable Trust, bringing the total to £8,000!
But you didn’t stop there – additional donations kept coming in, adding £2,250, for a grand total of £10,250!
Your support is already creating warm, connected moments across Kingston. You made a real difference this winter. We couldn’t be more grateful.
🧤 RBKares - Warmer in Winter Bags
Volunteers, including Justine and child helpers, delivered winter bags packed with practical support and festive treats. Families receiving these bags now have warmth, comfort, and moments of joy this winter - all thanks to your generosity.
🎁 New Era – Young Carers Christmas Party
A £500 grant is creating a warm, joy-filled Christmas party co-designed by the young carers themselves - with food, activities, gifts and space to connect with peers who truly “get it.” A small grant making a big emotional impact.
